Kokos Aminos Gewürzsauce – Was ist das? Und warum werde ich sie lieben?

Coconut Aminos Seasoning Sauce - What is it? And why will I love her?

What is Coconut Aminos?

To get you started: Coconut Aminos Sauce is a seasoning sauce made from natural ingredients. It can be described as an alternative to soy sauce. We think "the healthy all-rounder for seasoning" is even more fitting. Soy sauce is notoriously salty. And our Coconut Aminos Sauce is more spicy.

The basis of this seasoning talent is the coconut. In our case, it's organic, from Homegardens in Sri Lanka. Coconut water is used to make coconut vinegar, and coconut palm nectar is used to create natural coconut nectar. The coconut vinegar and coconut nectar are the two main ingredients of this sauce. Spices are also added to give the sauce a truly unique flavor.

To harvest the palm's coconut nectar, specialized workers climb the coconut palm twice a day. We saw it with our own eyes and could hardly believe how incredibly talented these professionals are.

What does the Aminos Sauce taste like?

We would describe the flavor as: fruity, sweet, sour, spicy. And most importantly—and especially funny given the name—the sauce tastes absolutely nothing like coconut.

Use: The name "all-rounder" says it all, as does the flavor composition, which boasts quite a few nuances. Just as a good chef balances his dish with the various nuances at the end, we can use this excellent sauce. Then a little salt and pepper, and the dish is "completely rounded."

Is the coconut amino sauce healthy?

The sauce consists only of natural, plant-based ingredients and is free from any additives. It is soy-, gluten-, and histamine-free. It is also vegan and friendly to the gut and blood pressure.

Coconut blossom nectar is unrefined sugar, so it retains valuable minerals and antioxidants. Compared to white sugar, coconut blossom nectar contains fewer calories.

How should the coconut amino sauce be used?

Thanks to its diverse flavor nuances, the sauce can perfectly complement and balance a variety of dishes, so there are no limits to your creativity. Here are a few ideas: We think the sauce pairs perfectly with steamed or roasted vegetables, as well as rice dishes. It also works great in salad dressings or marinades. In winter, the sauce is a perfect complement to red cabbage.
