Bio King coconut water
Our Bio King Coconut Water is produced using a gentle and careful process to ensure the highest quality and freshness.
First, the King coconuts are harvested by our partner in Sri Lanka from Bio Homegardens. Immediately after the harvest, the coconut water is extracted from the fresh coconuts and cautiously heated. This heating process serves to extend the shelf life without affecting the valuable nutrients and natural taste.
The coconut water is then bottled directly into glass bottles.
This is how we ensure that you can enjoy coconut water in its purest and freshest form.
The King Coconut is a special type of coconut that comes mainly from Sri Lanka. It is known for its golden-orange shell and exceptionally sweet, refreshing water. This coconut is smaller and has a thinner, softer shell that makes it easier to open. The flesh of the King coconut is very thin and tender, which is why the main focus is on the water, which is naturally isotonic and perfect for rehydration. (Because King coconut water is particularly rich in minerals and electrolytes, it is known as the Queen of Coconuts.)
In comparison, the regular coconut Distributed worldwide and has a thicker skin that is green or brown depending on its ripeness.
Its water is also refreshing, but less sweet than that of the King coconut. The regular coconut has a thicker flesh that is used in many ways in cooking - from making coconut milk and oil to various desserts and dishes.
Here you will find further information.
Our bottles are fully recyclable, but it is important to dispose of them correctly.
Since these are glass bottles, they should be placed in the glass recycling container, not in the yellow bag.
Glass recycling has the advantage that the material can be recycled infinitely without losing quality.
In this way, you actively contribute to conserving valuable resources.
Tip: Our bottles are also perfect for creative DIY ideas – turn them into decorative vases, drink glasses for a party or practical containers for the home!
