Why a Matcha Chai Latte?
A Matcha Chai Latte combines the best of both worlds: the gentle energy of matcha tea and the spicy warmth of a chai latte. With our Kumaio® Organic Chai Syrup, you can easily create this special combination – either as a soothing warm version or as a refreshing iced version for summer.
Ingredients for 1 glass (approx. 200 ml)
- 200 ml milk or plant-based drink
- 1-2 tbsp Kumaio® organic chai syrup
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- Some warm water
- Ice cubes (only for the iced version)

- Sieve
- Matcha whisk or milk frother
Preparation step by step
Warm version
- Finely sift the matcha powder.
- Beat in a little warm water until creamy and frothy.
- Heat the milk and froth it if desired.
- Add matcha to the milk.
- Stir in 1-2 tablespoons of Kumaio® Organic Chai Syrup and enjoy.
Iced Version
- Finely sift the matcha powder.
- Beat in a little warm water until creamy and frothy.
- Pour cold milk into a glass.
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of Kumaio® Organic Chai Syrup and stir.
- Add ice cubes and pour in the matcha.
