What are coconut aminos?
To begin, for context: Coconut Aminos Sauce is a seasoning sauce made from natural ingredients. It can be described as an alternative to soy sauce.
We think: “The healthy all-rounder for seasoning” is an even better fit.
Because soy sauce is known to be very salty. And our coconut aminos sauce is rather savory.

The basis of this flavorful sauce is the coconut – in our case, organic coconuts from Homegardens in Sri Lanka. Coconut vinegar is made from the coconut water, and natural coconut nectar is produced from the nectar of the coconut palm. These two ingredients are the two main components of this sauce. Spices are then added, giving the sauce its truly unique flavor.
To harvest the coconut nectar from the palm tree, specialized workers climb the tree twice a day. We saw it with our own eyes and could hardly believe how incredibly talented these professionals are.
What does the Aminos sauce taste like?
We would describe the taste as fruity, sweet, tangy, and spicy. And very importantly—and especially funny given the name—the sauce doesn't taste like coconut at all.
Uses: The name "Allrounder" says it all, as does the composition of its flavor, which boasts a wide range of nuances. Just as a good chef balances their dish with different nuances at the end, we can use this excellent sauce. Add a little salt and pepper, and the dish is perfectly rounded.
Is coconut aminos sauce healthy?
The sauce consists only of natural, plant-based ingredients and is free of any additives. It is soy-, gluten-, and histamine-free. It is also vegan and gentle on the gut and blood pressure.
Coconut blossom nectar is not refined sugar, therefore it retains valuable minerals and antioxidants. Compared to white sugar, coconut blossom nectar contains fewer calories.

How should the coconut aminos sauce be used?
Thanks to its diverse flavor nuances, this sauce can perfectly complement and balance a variety of dishes, so your creativity knows no bounds. Here are a few ideas: We think the sauce is simply perfect with steamed or roasted vegetables, as well as rice dishes. It also works wonderfully in salad dressings or marinades.
