We rarely fall head over heels in love at first sight... but when we bit into this vegetarian version of the jackfruit patty, we knew instantly! We immediately questioned whether we'd ever want to eat any other patty again...
...we can reassure you: We also eat other delicious patties (but every other time it can be this one ;-))

YOU WILL NEED: FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 PATTIES
- 1 can of Kumaio® - Pulled Jackfruit
- 1/2 onion
- 1 egg
- approximately 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- approx. 4 tablespoons of grated cheese (e.g. Gouda, Emmental, Parmesan)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Spices of your choice (we like to use a Mediterranean tomato spice; garlic, Italian spices etc. also work)
HERE'S HOW IT'S DONE:
Chop the onions finely. Drain the pulled jackfruit in a sieve and mix all the ingredients together in a bowl by hand. Let the mixture rest for about 10 minutes, then form it into patties. Fry the patties in vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

Ta-da! It's done! Now just combine it however you like and ENJOY !
Tip: Our pulled jackfruit version is even faster, as the jackfruit is already pre-pulled . Enjoy quick and healthy cooking!
