We rarely fall in love... but when we bit into this vegetarian version of the jackfruit patty, we knew straight away that we were! We immediately questioned whether we would ever want to eat another patty again...
... we can reassure you: We also eat other delicious patties (but every other time it can be this one ;-))

FOR APPROX. 4 PATTIES YOU NEED:
- 1 can of Kumaio® - Pulled Jackfruit
- 1/2 onion
- 1 egg
- approx. 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- approx. 4 tablespoons of grated cheese (e.g. Gouda, Emmental, Parmesan)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Spices of your choice (we like to use a Mediterranean tomato spice ; garlic, Italian spices etc. also work)
HOW TO DO IT:
Chop the onions. Drain the pulled jackfruit in a sieve and mix all the ingredients in a bowl by hand. Let the whole mixture rest for about 10 minutes and then form it into patties. Then you can fry the patties on both sides at a medium heat with vegetable oil until golden brown.
Tadaaa... done! Now just combine it the way you like it and ENJOY !
Tip: With our pulled jackfruit variant you can cook even faster, as the jackfruit is already " pre-plucked ". Have fun cooking quickly and healthily!
