Veganer Hot-Dog mit Pulled BBQ-Jackfruit Rezept

Vegan hot dog with pulled BBQ jackfruit recipe

YOU WILL NEED: TO MAKE APPROXIMATELY 8-10 HOT DOGS

  • 8-10 hot dog buns or baguette rolls
  • 2 cans of Kumaio® - Pulled Jackfruit
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes
  • approximately 2 heaped teaspoons of BBQ spice mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste


You can choose any toppings you like. Here are a few of our suggestions: fried onions, pickles, cheddar or edam cheese, guacamole, ketchup, hot dog sauce

HERE'S HOW IT'S DONE:
Drain the pulled jackfruit in a sieve and mix it in a casserole dish with the oil and BBQ seasoning. Then add the chopped tomatoes and onions. Mix all the ingredients in the casserole dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. Once the pulled BBQ jackfruit mixture is cooked, you can fill the buns with it and top them with your choice of toppings .

SERVING SUGGESTION:
The hot dogs are perfect for an event with guests, as they can be prepared individually and the pulled BBQ jackfruit is suitable for meat eaters, vegetarians or vegans.
