Preparation step by step

Drain the jackfruit and gently squeeze the pieces to make them crispier when frying.

Prepare the breading: Mix flour, breadcrumbs, paprika powder and salt in a bowl.

Prepare the egg mix: Whisk the egg or egg substitute in a second bowl.

Breading: First coat the jackfruit pieces in the flour-breading mix, then dip them in the egg mixture and roll them in the breadcrumbs again.

Deep frying: Heat the oil and fry the jackfruit pieces until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
